We are entering an area of our galaxy densely populated by asteroids and other space rocks.

You might have noticed the recent increasing in reporting of space rocks that will pass very close to our planet. Well the reason of this is that the Sun travels at the incredible speed of 828,000 km/h dragging us with it every day in a new place, almost 20.000.000 km apart from yesterday. Check this.

Why you really need to change your view on space

The old heliocentric model makes us perceive space, stars, planets and other objects as they were revolving around one static star. Also this suggests the wrong idea of a static universe or at least as static as it gets to be observable during a human lifetime.
